 A World Record Holding Mountaineer

Hailing from Puranpur, Uttar Pradesh, Satyadeep Gupta holds the world record for the fastest ascent of Mt. Everest by an Indian. A Marine Engineer by profession, Satyadeep is deeply passionate about mountaineering.


His journey began after graduating from MERI Kolkata in 2007 and training at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi.


Notable Achievements:

  • First-person in the world to scale Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse twice in a single season
  • Fastest Indian ascent of Mt. Everest from Camp 4
  • Summited major peaks including Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Makalu, and many more.

Lieutenant Colonel Chirag Chatterjee

Experienced Mountaineer

Chirag Chatterjee, a fitness enthusiast and ardent nature lover from Kolkata, is a proud Indian Army Lieutenant Colonel. A passionate mountaineer, he has excelled in various courses from prestigious institutions like HMI and ABVIMAS. Since beginning his exploration of the Himalayas in 2008 at the age of 19, he has tackled some of India's most challenging treks, including Traill’s Pass, Auden’s Col, and Kalindi Col. Chirag has also explored ranges beyond the Himalayas, such as Yosemite National Park and the Grand Canyon.


In May 2023, he successfully summited Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse in a single push.


Apart from mountaineering, Chirag is a fervent scuba diver and certified Rescue Diver, with hundreds of dives across the Indian coastline, South East Asia, the USA, and Belize.
